Note
Bill Bedford flew with Nos 605, 135 and 65 Squadrons during the War. He graduated as a Test Pilot from ETPS in 1949 and, following : flying tour at Farnborough joined Hawker Aircraft becoming Chief Test Pilot in 1956. He spent his last seven years as a test pilot on the development flying of the V/STOL P 1127, Kestrel and Harrier.
