The Cover bears a large 10p GB definitive and is signed by the two pilots, Sqn Ldr IVI. B. Proudfoot and Flt Lt. P. Bouch— it is also signedby Air Cdre E, W, Wright (1260 numbered and certified)

1. On Pilot signed Covers FiAF(SPl2c and 2d the Tern Hill backstamp reads "TERN HILL 14th-15th AUGUST I973".
2. Air Cdre Wright IRAF(SP)2el was a member of No 605 Squ dron who flew from Croydon during the Battle of Britain when the Squadron was equipped with Hurricanes.
