1 A numbe rof envelopes of RAF11a were franked with combinations of the ommemorative stamps usua v our per cover and cancelled with the BFPS 1308 handstamps. These covers were neither flown nor gained, ang the envelopes bear a printed address of No 230 Squadron, RAF Odiham, Hants.
2. This was the first RAF Museum Cover to be machine cancelled with a BFPS handstamp, but some were, however, cancelled by hand.
