As it was not possible to fly all the Covers in one Lightning, they were split between nine squadron aircraft, but to avoid a situation where there became a set of Covers, no aircraft tail numbers were notified. All pilot signed Covers were signed by one pilot, Flt Lt F. Fi. Manning.
