Notes
1. Five different backstemps were used at Stavanger for RAF5a and 5b namely "STAVANGER", "STAVANGEFI 4000", "STAVANGER BFI EV", "STAVANGER UTV" and double ring "STAVANGER*". They were positioned in numerous different places on the backs of the Covers. Covers are known backstamped STAVANGER BREV 31.8.72.
2. The Serial No of the Vulcan which carried the Covers was XL391 and not as printed. Thiswas a mistake by the Cyrpus printers, and as it was not spotted until some Covers had been distributed, it was decided not to change the cechet.
3. Flight Cachets on all varieties exist either photographed on a piece of paper and stuck onto it.
