Johnnie Johnson ne ds no introduction. Top-scoring figheer ace in WW2 he won two DFCs, three DSOs and is credited with no fewer than 38 enemy aircraft destroyed. He retired from the RAF in 1965.
2. HA 14c contains a photograph of Johnnie Johnson sitting in the cockpit of his Spitfire in Belgium in 1944.
