1. The Cover commemorates the 50th Anniversary of the first Westward flight across the Atlantic.
2. Kelly-Rogers joined the FIAF in 1927 and spent his service career flying waterborne aircraft. ln 1935 he joined Imperial Airways and aft r a second career on Flying Boats became Superintendent of BOAC's Atlantic flying boat operations.
