SC9b Pilot Si ned l250l. The layout of the pilot si  ned Cover was altered as a deliberate anti-forgery precaution, and the J F Kennedy receipt cachet appears on the front below the signature. The Flight Cachet was stamped on the back to ether with the RAF Brize Norton receipt stamp.

Note
This was the first numbered cover to be produced. It does not bear the name of any RAF Station because it was issued by MOD (Air) although the British Forces Post Office was set up and cancelled the Covers at Brize Norton.
