Notes
1. The original for this Cover was painted by Anthony Harold
2. Cancellation dates of 25-7 and 26-7 are known although the majority of Covers were cancelled on 24-7 1981.
3. Two other Covers in this series are connected with Zeppelin events: FF 8 issued on the 70th Anniversary of the Formation of the World's First Commercial Airline using Zeppelins and FF 18 issued on the 80th Anniversary of the First Flight of the Zeppelin on 2 July 1900.
4. Oskar Flosch achieved the position of ‘Fahrmeister' on Graf Zeppelin LZ 127 and was a crew member during many flights of both LZ 127 and LZ 130 including the Arctic (Polar} flight of 1931. He flew a total approaching 200,000 km on both Airships.
