JS/50/40(7b) Similar cover, blue printing, with DSCIDSM commemorative stamp signed by Lt. Cdr. M. P. DAVIS, a pilot of S15 Naval Air Squadron which took part in the Battle of Taranto. or Lt. Cdr. T. J. MacMAHON.
JS/50/40(7c)Similar cover but 34p doubIe—headed definitive and signed
by Captain A. W. F. SUTTON an observer in one of the Swordfish, and Major O. PATCH a pilot of another Swordfish, both of whom took part in the Battle. Personal details on the front in black, flight details on reverse in red. (965 numbered and certified).

Note
Both these signers were awarded the DSC for their part in the battle, unfortunately "0I|ie" Patch died just a few days after si ning the covers.
