RAF AC 3a Cover as illustrated signed by both members of the Tiger Moth crew. Two Sp Jersey "Links with France" stamps were used in equal numbers — the one shown and the other picturing John of England and Philippe Auguste of France (3200 — 1600 of each)
RAF AC 3b Cover bearing e 13p Jersey 'Harb0ur' stamp signed by Sqn Ldr Simpson and Gp Capt Gieave (1026 numbered and certified}


Notes
1. ‘Bill' Simpson joined the RAF in 1935 and in 1940, as part of the Advanced Striking Force in France was shot down suffering severe burns ··- he eventually made his way back to UK in October 1941.
2. Tom Gleave was commissioned into the RAF in 1930. He commanded No 253 Squadron during the Battle of Britain and is now known to have 'kiIIed' four |V|e 109's and one Ju 88. When the Guinea Pig Club was founded Tom was voted in as Vice President.
3. The original for this cover was printed by Hugh Gurney.
