1. Vice Admiral Waller assumed command of the US Third Fleet in 19'-
2. The Covers were carried on the third mid-winter flight to IV|::|V|ur- station. but the first to the South Pole Station. While over the South P= the ground temperature was a mere -82 deg F. (Did you think Janua 1982 was cold in UK?).
3. The entire Cover and proceeds from sales were donated to RAF Museum.
